Questions about emergency loans? Here are some of the most frequently asked.

How much can I borrow with an emergency loan?

The amount you can borrow depends on factors like your income, credit score, and state of residence.

Lendmark may offer up to $8,000 without collateral (larger loans may be available to qualified borrowers with collateral). There are minimum loan amounts of $2,000 in Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi, and $3,000 in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

What credit score do I need to qualify for an emergency loan?

Lendmark believes borrowers are more than a credit score. We evaluate multiple factors (including your income, existing debts, and credit history) in determining eligibility and do not rely solely on a single credit score threshold.

How do I repay an emergency loan?

Lendmark loans are repaid in monthly installments. You can sign up for ACH payments to have payments automatically paid from your checking account on the designated dates. Otherwise, you can make payments online or by phone with a debit card, or make payments in any Lendmark branch by personal check, cashier’s check, or money order.

Will applying for an emergency loan affect my credit score?

With Lendmark, you can see if you pre-qualify without impacting your credit score. Completing a formal application process and establishing a new loan will result in a hard inquiry. Hard inquiries might affect your credit score. Credit score impacts vary by consumer and credit reporting practices

Because of the way credit scores are calculated, completing a formal application process and establishing a new loan typically temporarily reduces your credit score slightly. However, consistently making loan payments on schedule may increase your credit score over time.
