Lendmark Financial Services Celebrates 30 Years of Building Financial Opportunity Through Relationships, Trust and Community Impact
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga., Aug. 5, 2026 – Lendmark Financial Services (Lendmark), today marks 30 years of growth, expanding from four branches in Georgia to more than 550 locations across 24 states since its founding on Aug. 5, 1996, by founder and CEO Bobby Aiken in Conyers, Ga. In recognition of his leadership and community impact, the City of Conyers has proclaimed Aug. 5 as Bobby Aiken Founders Day.
Since its inception, Lendmark has remained rooted in its founding principle: personal relationships are the foundation of every interaction. Lendmark serves more than 500,000 customers annually, providing personalized loan solutions with flexible payment options, same-day funding and local branches offering friendly service, all designed to support customers through life's planned and unexpected moments.
"Thirty years ago, we started with a simple belief: When you put people first, success follows," said Bobby Aiken, CEO and founder of Lendmark. "While we're proud of how far we've come, what means the most are the relationships we've built with our customers, colleagues and communities, and the trust they've placed in us along the way. Every loan represents a person, a family or a goal, and it's a privilege to have played a role in helping so many people move forward with confidence.
"Serving people with care, respect and purpose has been at the heart of everything we do, and as we celebrate this milestone, I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey. The future has never looked brighter."
Lendmark's culture is built on its proprietary LEND leadership model, which empowers its more than 2,300 employees to make a positive impact on colleagues, customers and the communities they serve. LEND, an acronym for Loyal, Engaging, Nurturing and Decisive, reflects the core leadership principles established and serves as the foundation for how employees work together and support customers.
Lendmark's commitment to its communities extends beyond financial services through its signature philanthropic initiative, the annual Climb to Cure campaign. Inspired by the belief that a company can make a tangible difference in finding a cure for pediatric cancer, Lendmark partners with CURE Childhood Cancer, an Atlanta-based nonprofit dedicated to funding targeted childhood cancer research. To date, the campaign has raised nearly $11 million through the combined efforts of Lendmark employees, partners and customers. In 2026, the company has set a goal of raising an additional $1.5 million to support precision medicine research and provide hope for families facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis.
The company's dedication to excellence and corporate social responsibility has earned national recognition, including the 2025 Patriots in Business Honorable Mention Award,
presented by Chief Executive Group and Thayer, multiple Stevie Awards for Company of the Year and Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, as well as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation's Citizens Award for Best Corporate Steward.
